Alabama Barker Reveals Sweet Message From “Best Dad” Travis Barker After Family Emergency
View Date:2024-12-23 21:13:57
All the small things mean so much to Alabama Barker.
Travis Barker's 17-year-old daughter shared the touching message her dad wrote her amid a family emergency involving stepmom Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy.
Travis' note to Alabama, which she posted to her Instagram Story on Sept. 6, read, "You are my everything." In response, Alabama wrote back, "Your [sic] truly the best dad @travisbarker."
The Blink-182 drummer appeared to be feeling sentimental as he shared images on his Instagram Story of his three kids: Alabama and Landon, 19, who he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24.
Earlier in the day, Travis received a shoutout from wife Kourtney, who thanked him for supporting her during a recent medical scare involving their child.
"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life," she wrote on Instagram Sept. 6. "I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock."
While also thanking mom Kris Jenner, the Poosh founder gave further insight into the medical scare that prompted Travis to leave his Blink-182 tour in Europe.
"As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn't prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery," the 44-year-old added. "I don't think anyone who hasn't been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant."
Travis further touched on the incident on X, formerly known as Twitter, noting that all is well in his family.
"God is great," he wrote Sept. 6. "I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I'm so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday."
